I met Roger on July 4th 2001. It was a very special day for me, but for Roger, this Independence Day had an extra special meaning. For the next three and one half weeks we worked so hard at becoming a team. We had our ups and downs, but despite everything we went through we both forgave each other and enjoyed our playtime together.
Graduation day was July 28th 2001. Pete and Mary Jo came. They were the ones who raised me from a pup. I was very excited to see them. They were so proud of what I had become. It was a very emotional day for all the graduates and raisers.
When all the excitement of the day was over and everyone said their final good-byes, I boarded a plane and flew home to Louisville, Kentucky with Roger. Roger and I will be attending the seminary where Roger is studying to be a minister.
